Offertory Counters

A group of at least two people who count, reconcile, and deposit the weekly monetary gifts collected at each Mass. Gifts to share: Accuracy with numbers Commitment: Counting once a month on Monday at Mary Queen of Apostles Parish.

Sacristan

To assist in setting up those things needed for the celebration of Mass.

Lectors

A lector is a fully initiated and active Catholic who proclaims the first and second readings during the Mass and the Universal Prayers (when a Deacon is not present).

Eucharistic Minister

All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine. – 2010, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

Altar Server

The role of the server is important in assisting the Priest and Deacon within the Mass. An Altar Server accepts the responsibility of being present for his/her assigned scheduled serving times. It is your responsibility to find a sub if you can’t make your assigned Mass.

Liturgical Art and Environment is responsible for making the worship space worthy for liturgical, devotional and contemplative prayer.
