“The Church needs you, your enthusiasm, your creativity and the joy that is so characteristic of you!”

~ Pope Francis

Our young adult ministry connects young adults to Jesus Christ, the Church, the mission of the Church in the world, and our peers. We host many social, spiritual and service opportunities for young adults throughout the year.

The vision of DCCatholic (Office of Young Adult Ministry) is to connect young adults to Jesus Christ, the Church, the mission of the Church in the world, and our peers. DCCatholic hosts many social, spiritual and service opportunities for young adults throughout the year.

Tuesday Evening Women’s Study:

Every Tuesday at 7:30PM, the ladies meet to do one of the Endow Study groups. Starting Tuesday, March 31st we’re doing St. Catherine of Siena study. In her mere 33 years she left such a rich legacy that she is named a Doctor of the Church. She is best known for The Dialogue, a book of meditations and revelations in which she shares intimate conversations with God. She used her ‘feminine genius’ to address the problems the world presented her and her words will ring as true today as when she first exhorted fellow Christians: “Be who you are called to be and you will set the world ablaze!”

Thursday Evening Holy Hour:

On Thursdays from 6:30-7:30PM, some of our young adults gather at our Parish to pray a Holy Hour together.

If you would like more information or would like to join us, please contact Katie Mendenhall in the parish office at 616-696-3904 or kmendenhall@jp2-mqa.org

Social Gatherings:

We try to get together for fellowship. These outings can include anything: dinner, axe throwing, game nights, etc.

We pride ourselves in living out the charism and values of
what makes our parish distinctly Catholic.
